I do not know if anyone else has noticed this or not, but, after testing duplicate Solutions of both 11 and 12 versions of server in side-by-side environments with duplicate hosts and duplicate desktops, 12 has clocked faster in every category. Even if one is not a seasoned developer, mobile user interfaces can be built without constantly trying to remember pixel sizes.
The single addition of the "Device Dimensions" control in the layout design mode will save countless hours of trial and error on the part of developers. Mobility computing and systems access are virtually a mandatory part of any Solution in today's business world. For this review I will select only one function addition that make it extremely useful. A a long-time user and developer of FileMaker Solutions, every version has made this product even more productive.
